Faith-based leaders and real estate developers are invited to learn about Senate Bill 4 (SB 4) and how it can positively impact your community. SB 4 allows nonprofit colleges and churches, mosques, and other faith institutions the right to build affordable housing on their land.
Hear success stories and see how St. Stephen’s Church partnered with MidPen Housing to create affordable and supportive homes for seniors and senior veterans on their property. Enjoy a tour of the St. Stephens Senior Housing community while learning about the development.

Housing for Health Partnership, the Housing Authority of Santa Cruz County, and Abode Services are partnering to honor and appreciate property owners and managers who help to ensure all county residents have stable, safe, and healthy places to live. From accepting tenants with housing vouchers, to master leasing properties to community-based organizations, to hosting youth without stable homes, many property owners and managers are making a difference in our community.
If you own or manage property and are involved in supporting nonprofit or public programs or want to learn how to get more involved, please join us for this event.
